My master thesis, in which I explore vulnerability, first memories, fear and reactions to different life experiences. The theme is mainly about stepping away from fear and anxiety and finding space for hope - which creates the belief that everything will turn out well. I like to be scared as long as I know that the fear is followed by a pleasant feeling of relief.

The puppets in my set of paintings depict fearfulness and unease. Tenderness and hope are represented by the figure of the horse, in the role
of the closest companion. In the set of paintings I work with the ambiguity between fear and courage, tenderness and fright, calm and anxiety. I like to extend the medium of painting with other artistic means, so I made large-scale drawings for the series of paintings with the same theme and ceramic magnets that freely accompany the paintings.
